What can go wrong — and how we prevent it
Originals lost in transit between offices
Your certificates physically travel through government counters. Every Trusfast file gets a numbered receipt at handover, a named custodian at each stage, and tracked courier both ways. You can ask "where is my degree right now?" and get an office name, not a shrug.
Wrong route chosen — money spent twice
HRD, SDM, Home Department and Chamber of Commerce routes differ by document type, price, days, and which destinations accept them — and apostille and full attestation are entirely different chains, not variations of the same one. Some employers insist on a specific route even where a cheaper one would technically pass. We confirm the destination’s and document type’s exact requirement in writing before you pay, so you never buy the wrong route and then buy the right one.
Rejection at the embassy for a fixable defect
Lamination, name mismatches with the passport, and missing prior stamps are the usual killers. We inspect documents against the destination’s checklist before filing anything — defects get flagged to you on day one, not discovered at the final counter.
"Urgent charges" appearing mid-process
The quote you approve is the price you pay. If a government fee changes mid-file (it happens), you see the official receipt — never an invented "speed money" line.
The questions everyone asks before paying
Can I do attestation myself without an agency?
Yes — every counter we use is open to the public, and we will not pretend otherwise. What you are paying us for is sequencing (the stamps only count in the right order), physical queueing in multiple cities, defect-checking before submission, and receipted custody of your originals. People who start alone usually come to us after the first rejection; starting right is cheaper.
Are my original certificates safe with you?
Every original is logged with a numbered receipt the moment we take it, stored in the office safe between stages, and moved only by tracked courier. You can ask for its location at any stage and get a specific answer — office, city, expected return date.
Apostille or embassy attestation — which one do I need?
It depends on the destination country, and MEA itself treats the two as separate processes, not steps of one chain. Hague Convention members (most of Europe, Australia and many others) accept an MEA apostille and the chain ends there. The Gulf states and other non-Hague countries need full attestation instead: MEA attestation, then that country’s embassy or consulate, then often that country’s own Ministry of Foreign Affairs, plus certified translation where required. Tell us the country and document type on WhatsApp and you get the exact chain in one reply.
How long does attestation really take?
The state-verification stage is the slow one — it depends on which authority issued your document and can vary from days to weeks. MEA and embassy stages are usually faster and more predictable. The duration shown on this page is the typical end-to-end figure from our current files; if your deadline is tight, say so first and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
What if my document gets rejected?
A rejection almost always has a named, fixable cause — a missing prior stamp, a name mismatch, lamination damage. We tell you the exact reason and the exact fix, with the new date. Because we pre-check against the destination checklist before filing, rejections on our files are rare — and never a mystery.
Is the price on this page final?
The "from" price is the real starting price for the simplest route. Your exact quote depends on document type, issuing state and destination — and once a specialist confirms it in writing on WhatsApp, that number is final. No urgent charges, no surprises at delivery.
Do I need to notarize my document before attestation?
Sometimes — it depends on the document. Some personal documents need a notary's signature before SDM or Home Department will touch them; educational certificates usually skip straight to the state stage. We check this against your specific document before filing, so you are not sent to a notary you never needed, or missing one you did.
Should I send the original certificate, or is a photocopy enough?
Attestation is always done on the original. Every stamp in the chain — state, MEA, embassy — is applied directly to your physical certificate, confirming its own signatures and seals are genuine. A photocopy cannot carry that. If your original is damaged or lost, tell us first — a duplicate has its own process, and it is not the same timeline.
Can a laminated certificate still be attested?
Usually not as it stands — a stamp cannot be applied over plastic. Most authorities need the lamination removed first, which has to be done without damaging the certificate underneath. We check for this before filing and handle the delamination as part of the process, rather than discovering it at a counter and losing the queue slot.
My certificate was issued in a state you don't have an office in — can you still help?
Yes. The authority that matters is whichever state issued your certificate, not where our office sits — we file with that state's HRD, SDM or Home Department directly, by courier where a visit is not practical. Trivandrum is our base, not a limit on which certificates we can run.
What actually happens to my document, stage by stage?
Your original is receipted the moment we take it, and an invoice plus a copy go to you the same day. From there it moves through named stages — filed with SDM, SDM complete, filed with MEA, MEA complete, filed with the embassy or consulate, embassy attestation done, and, where your case needs it, filed with the destination country's MOFA and MOFA done. Once it's back with us, it goes through a quality check and safe packing before courier or hand delivery. Every one of those changes updates your status — you are never told just "processing."

Written quotes, final prices
The quote a specialist confirms on WhatsApp is the price you pay. Government fee changes come with the official receipt, never an invented charge.
Dates, not moods
"At MEA — back by the 14th." Every update carries a stage and a date. If a date slips, you hear it from us first, with the reason and the new date.
Honest no’s
If a deadline is not achievable or a service is not worth paying for in your case, we say so before you pay — because a refund costs us less than your review.
